DIBELS Math and Reading scores have been sent home if your child was present both days of DIBELS testing. I am so proud to see the progress my students are making! Great work!!

- Please continue to work on identifying letters and letter sounds, rhyming words and counting from 0 to 100 with your child.
- Please continue to read a book each night with your child and document it in their reading log! If your child reads 15 books per month, they will receive a Pizza Hut certificate.

What we are learning:
Reading- We are on Unit 3, week 6. The story of the week is The Lion and the Mouse. The question of the week is: What causes us to change the way we feel? The phonics skill is /o/ spelled Oo. Math- We are on Unit 3: Comparing Numbers. The essential question of the week is: how can numbers from 0 to 20 be ordered and compared? You can help your child by working with them on comparing numbers 0-20 (identifying the number that is greater or smaller) and writing/arranging numbers 0-20 in order.
Writing- We are on Unit 5 of writing. We are working on writing lowercase letters, as well as writing sentences and whole words. We are practicing beginning sentences with a capital letter, ending with a period, and leaving spaces between words.
