Students will have an early dismissal on 11/27 at 12:00 for NSE. There is no school on 11/28, 11,29 & 12/02.
If your child mastered their sight word list, the paper was sent home. If your child did not bring home a paper, please continue to work on the list they didn’t master. If your student mastered a list with me, they should move onto the next list
What we are learning:
Reading: This week we are continuing with Unit 2, Week 6. The story of the week is Jack and the Beanstalk. The question of the week is: How are real and make-believe plants alike and different? The phonics skill is /i/ spelled Ii. The comprehension skill is realism and fantasy. Grammar skill is adjectives. The amazing words are: beanstalk, lad, ogre, magic, naughty, lend. The high-frequency words are: he, for.
Math: We have started Unit 2: Numbers 11-20. The essential question of the week is: how do we read, write, and count numbers up to 15?
Writing: We will continue with Unit 3 of writing. We will be working on writing lowercase letters.
