What we are learning:
Reading- We are beginning Unit 4, week 5. The story of the week is If You Could Go To Antarctica. The question of the week is: What would it be like to have an Antarctic adventure? The phonics skill is /e/ spelled Ee. The comprehension skill is classify and categorize. The amazing words for this story are: Antarctica, continent, icebergs, penguins, seals, whales. The high-frequency words: here, go, from.

Math- We are on Unit 4: Addition. The essential question of the week is: How can we model and explain mathematical ideas?
